Chloe makes history as new Rearo manager

Twenty-two year old Chloe Batey from Gateshead has become the youngest ever Branch Manager for Rearo, one of the UK’s leading bathroom and kitchen surface manufacturers.

Chloe was promoted to the top job at the company’s Washington branch in Crowther Industrial Estate, following a step up for current manager, Neil Munro, to a regional position for both England and Wales.

Commenting on Chloe’s achievement, Neil said: “Chloe has demonstrated she is more than capable of filling this role. Over the years she has become a very respected member of staff who always goes above and beyond to help not only our customers, but other Rearo branches and colleagues. I have every faith Chloe will make a great manager and take the branch forward with glowing results.”

Chloe joined Rearo as a school leaver in 2014, taking on the role of Apprentice Sales and Admin. In just five years she has been promoted to the most senior level within her branch.

Rearo Managing Director, Graham Mercer, said: “Chloe is a true success story of our business and demonstrates how young talent has been developed and nurtured within the company. I’m delighted for Chloe that her hard work and efforts have been rewarded, and am excited to see what the future holds for the Washington Branch with her at the helm.”

Rearo’s Washington branch is located in Unit 15, Crowther Industrial Estate and is open weekdays 8am until 5pm, closing at 4pm on Fridays.
